Mission
Statement: To provide each client with an honest and profitable
avenue in which to sell their property, while pursuing a
fair market price from each potential buyer, as to achieve
a “win-win” for all parties concerned. ~Geoff
Smith, Auctioneer
Geoff’s
understanding of Farm Chattels & Industrial Equipment
grew out of him being raised on a 4th generation farm. This
fact allows for him to recognize a diamond in the rough,
when it comes to older farm equipment/implements.
In
2001-2002 and again in 2002-2003, Geoff was recognized with
a “Million
dollars
in sales” award, which was earned through Real Estate
sold by auction. Proving him to be successful in negotiating
between seller and buyer. In the Industrial market keeping
up with equipment & machine values can be difficult,
because it changes frequently. Yet, Geoff travels all over
the United States auctioneering within this market, on the
average of 5 times a month. Therefore, he is able to stay
current on the Industrial market/auction trends.
Estate & Personal
Property sales requires an auctioneer to have an understanding
of legal documents (i.e.: liens & Surveys) combined with
experience in Real Estate, Antiques, Collectibles and the
worth of household goods. Geoff is not only proficient but,
successful in all markets.
Do
I have an Antique or a reproduction? That is the hundred
or possibly the thousand dollar question. And an inexperienced
auctioneers can cost you, the seller a lot of money. Knowing
the value and history of an antique is acquired by years
of hands on inspection and exposure.
Additionally,
as with any market there are trends. To know what collectors
are buying requires consistent observation of the market.
Within the past 25 years Geoff has accumulated over a hundred
thousand hours of selling, appraising and inspecting antiques
and collectibles. His expertise has made him one of the countries
leading Antique & Collectibles Auctioneer.
